Radhakrishn needs no introduction. One of the most popular serial on Starbharat. And we have Nitin Gupta, the Senior Creative Director with us today as today’s Fotoshoto Fresh Face.
Let’s hear his fantastic behind the scene story, his not-so-known interests and his views over photography.
#1 Can you tell our readers something about yourself?
Hi, I’m Nitin Gupta. I’m working as a Senior Creative Director with Swastik Productions and have been associated with this production house for the last 13 years.
I’ve done my schooling from Goethals Memorial School, Kurseong & DPS Mathura Road, New Delhi and graduation from Ness Wadia College Of Commerce, Pune.
Though I’ve always been creatively inclined since childhood but have no formal education proof to support my statement.
#2 Which all serials have you been associated with?
I’m currently working on RadhaKrishn on Star Bharat. In the last few years, I’ve worked on Mahabharat (Star Plus), Karmphaldata Shani (Colors), Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush (Colors), Mahakaali (Colors), Suryaputr Karn (Sony TV) to name a few.
#3 How did you get into Television?
It was destiny I guess. During my college days, a friend of mine in Pune had mentioned about Swastik Productions & its owner/creator Mr Siddharth Kumar Tewary.
It was just a passing conversation then, but to cut the long story short – I was at the RIGHT PLACE at the RIGHT TIME & doing the RIGHT THING.
It’s been 13 years since I joined this prestigious company as a trainee back then & its been fun all along.
#4 How did RadhaKrishn happen?
After working on various mythological shows for the last 7-8 years, we wanted to make a show which is different. The idea was to make the most beautiful show in the history of Indian Television.
A show about pure love. A romantic musical saga – And that’s how RadhaKrishn happened.
#5 Do you have no ambition to get into Bollywood sometime?
Today the whole media & entertainment industry has grown multifold. We’re a content producing company. So we’re open to all platforms whether it’s cinema, TV, internet or mobile.
#6 Let’s have some funny rapid-fire questions.
Instagram or Facebook?
Which is your favourite fashion brand?
Who is your fashion icon?
My Wife “Nitanshi”
New clothes or a new phone?
Online shopping or shopping in a store?
TV or Movies?
#7 Who clicks your best pictures? And when she isn’t around, how do you manage to click your photos?
The one & only – Nitanshi, my wife. If she isn’t around, I generally do not get clicked.
#8 What is the difference that you see in your pictures, clicked by Nitanshi and others?
The framing & the overall detailing.
#9 Which are your favourite selfie poses?
I’m not much of a selfie person. So I guess the basic one. 🙂
#10 What are the problems in a selfie pose vs someone else clicking?
I feel that all my selfies look the same & that’s the biggest problem.
#11 Think for a moment, you are on a solo trip and no one with you to click your pictures. How will you handle this?
I would rather enjoy the view & click the scenery.
#12 What do you like to do in your free time?
Movies/Video & Photo Editing.
#13 Two things you wouldn’t change about yourself?
I wouldn’t change anything. 🙂
#14 How frequently do you change your phone and what do you do with the old phone?
Every 18 months I guess. I sell the old one on OLX mostly.
