An actor, stand up comedian, film reviewer, mimicry artist, radio jockey – is there anything that Sankalp Rastogi can’t d0! ‘I am not at all a selfie person’ says 0ur today’s Fotoshoto Fresh Face, Sankalp Rastogi. Let’s understand the problems we face while taking selfies in Sankalp’s view.
#1 Let’s begin with something about yourself.
I am an actor from Delhi, now based out of Mumbai. Dabbling into different things and trying to make a mark.
#2 Let’s have some rapid-fire questions before we move ahead.
Instagram or Facebook?
Which is your Favourite fashion brand?
Who is your fashion icon?
New clothes or new phone?
Online shopping or shopping in a store?
For Jeans, I prefer Store else I go for Online Shopping.
Black or White?
Favourite photo editor app?
I don’t use any.
#3 Who clicks your best pictures? And when she isn’t around, how do you manage to click your photos?
My wife clicks my best pictures. When she is not around, I rarely get clicked. Candids are best though.
#4 What is the difference that you see in your pictures, clicked by your favourite one and others?
My favourite person knows which angles which suits me and how to hide my fat. Others don’t care. 🙁
#5 Which are your favourite selfie poses?
Am not a selfie person at all.
#6 What are the problems we face while taking selfies as against someone else clicking?
- While clicking a selfie you never know the best position for the camera, others can easily guide you better on how to handle your face.
- I cannot get a good background for my picture.
- A full view of my outfit can not be captured in a selfie
- Good lighting is a big hassle for a selfie.
- At times my face looks larger than its actual size in a selfie, making it look funny.
Most of these problems are sorted while someone else clicking the photo.
#7 Think for a moment, you are on a solo trip and no one with you to click your pictures. How will you handle this?
I will be absolutely fine. Feeling the moment is important not capturing it.
#8 What do you like to do in your free time?
I make funny videos for my page and watch Netflix.
#9 Two things you wouldn’t change about yourself?
I am never jealous of other people’s achievements and I always address my flaws to myself.
#10 How frequently do you change your phone and what do you do with the old phone?
In Around 2-3 years. I keep it in my junk but never throw it.
